Amanda Bynes' is "gravely disabled' says the judge. Grants mom conservatorship

A California civil court judge granted Amanda Byne’s mom, Lynn Bynes, control of her daughter’s finances, an estate worth $3.57 million.

Amanda, 27, was set to leave the hospital Thursday night and appear in a Ventura County courtroom Friday to speak with the judge in the case involving her mother’s request for a temporary probate conservatorship. But doctors kept the actress in the hospital, saying she has a "grave disability."

What do you think? Is Amanda going to be able to get back on track once she receives the help she needs?

  1. Wow, what kind of mental health issue does she have? How long has she been in the hospital for? I can't imagine being that old and having my parents trying to get custody of me and my finances again.

  2. while there have been numerous advancements for the means of treating mental Problems for the past 50 years, there\'s still a good certain stigma surrounding your own views with mental illness. The majority of people still mistakenly believe This an individual with a mental illness can be very easily lazy or maybe they will probably place blame towards the parents if ones patient can be a child.Kevin Perelman
